What are some good date night ideas for summer 2021?

Inspired by @brainsbeforebeauty question.  If you're in a relationship, do you still try to have frequent (once a week/month) "Date Nights"?

Just some random ideas off the top of my head. Obviously they will vary based on your location, finances, and creativity-

I also want to emphasize that most of the stuff I listed can be done by all you singles out there as well that want a fun "me day."

Beach date! Make a picnic and go relax there
Pool date (Obviously this isn't ideal if you're like me and insincere as heck about how you look in swimsuits, much less around someone you're interested in)
Go see fireworks together on the 4th of July
Ice cream date! Hear me out on this one. Buy all the fixings to make ice cream sundaes with. You and your date can cool off and enjoy something tasty
Water gun or water balloon fight. Hey don't knock it- what better way to cool off, or tease someone, than grabbing an old school super soaker and spraying each other! Yes, I have one and would do so in a heartbeat, lol

Dinner followed by fireworks on July 4 is classic!

In my area, we have a sanctuary for large cats - lions, tigers, leopards, etc. - who have been rescued from failing circuses, zoos, and private owners. They are open for tours in the evenings when the animals are more active.

In St. Augustine, there is a three-masted ship which takes passengers into the Matanzas River for a two hour excursion, and upon return, St. Augustine has an abundance of really good restaurants. After dinner, you can stroll in the historic district or go have a few drinks at one of the pubs.

Also in St. Augustine, after dinner, you can go in a walking "ghost" tour, led by a guide in period costume, who recounts the tales of local ghosts and supernatural phenomena as you walk to the sites associated with the stories.

In the town where I work, we have tiki bar which is on a large dock over an inlet from the St. Johns River. You can sit and watch the sunset over the water of the inlet to the west, listen to the live music provided on Friday and Saturday nights, and then go to dinner at my favorite locally owned Italian restaurant.

S'mores, zip lines, wine tasting, Tapas Bar (varias light appetizers), rent a canoe, go on a picnic, cook together, ask your in-laws for your spouse's favorite recipe and surprise him/her (not as a competition but as a way to surprise your spouse with something from their childhood that made them happy), find something historic about where you live (or 100 mile radius, day-trip distance) and go explore it together, see if a movie was filmed near where you live, watch it together, then shortly thereafter go to that area, see if they recognize the area from the movie.

I've been married for 26 years. We used to have date night once a week before I started my business. Now we have it once a month. We don't do anything extravagant. We would have dinner out, and go to the beach and just sit and cuddle with good conversation

Ride on the motorcycle out to a lake or on the back road in the woods where no one else is around. as we pull up to the location there is a table made up with two settings for dinner and the smell of food being BBQ'd in the air. A waitress comes to the bike and offers you a hand getting off and helps you to the table where they serve our food. after desert they leave us alone to talk
