What do you think of speed dating? Would you do it for fun or try it to meet people?

Im debating if whether or not I wanna do it to see what happens. I've never did speed dating before.

Speed dating NEVER works out for almost anyone because of hypergamy.

Women ONLY ever go after the one 10/10 man, no matter how much competition they have or how unattractive the women are. So that one 10/10 guy chooses only one girl, and the other girls ALL reject any other guys they could've stood a chance with. It's been proven by science that most (straight) women have a far higher opinion of themselves than reality suggests. That's why hypergamy is even a thing.

So unless a woman has CERTIFICABLE PROOF she is the hottest girl in any given room, she's likely going to do what all other girls do, only choose the one most attractive guy there, like literally every other girl, and then go home alone, thinking everyone else is at fault but her. Not only does this almost always happen with speed dating, but no one even talks about how screwed the men are with it. They're also usually the only ones who have to pay, while the women get in for free.

And yeah, I've done speed dating twice. Once at a Meetup event and a second time at ComicCon. In both instances, exactly what I said happened, only it was funny because the Chad at ComicCon there didn't choose ANY of the women, and they all felt sad, and then acting like anyone was supposed to give them any sympathy after they rejected every other guy. With the other one, they were all women in their 40s, 50s, and possibly even 60s, and were ALL divorced. And that's not the issue; the issue were, even THEY went after the 6'3", 26-year old Chad!

I went to a speed dating event once in person (a few years ago). Because my friend dragged me to it. But I chickened out at the last minute, so I refused to participate. I just waited for my friend until he was done.

Recently, I decided to try a speed dating event that was conducted by audio chat. I was scared to death!! But I YOLO'ed it. Afterwards, I was extremely embarrassed and disappointed in myself, and I came to the conclusion that Yes, that was a bad idea and I should have trusted my instincts. Never Again lol.

I think it would be very interesting, I think I'd be down for it. Unfortunately I think a lot of them are for people in their 30s-40s at least from what I have seen advertised

If I were single? Maybe, but I've been generally successful with online dating. If I were suddenly single now I would search nationwide.

I would love to see the real you I know you're good looking just because I look deep inside you and you have a good heart you're beautiful there so give me your beautiful everywhere no filters needed without hurt speed dating I tried it one time with one person it's not for me I want to sit down and relax look eye-to-eye and be able to have fun and not just rush through everything you don't get the same effect as you do when just chatting with somebody

I've never tried it but I have heard it works for some people. Make sure you have questions prepared in advance and bring a paper and pencil so you can keep track of the ones you like. I hear that with speed dating you can end up meeting 50 or more people and that is a lot to keep track of.

Nope I wouldn't do it I think dating should be a 1 on 1 thing when you're spreading yourself so thin like that how can you focus on anything that's gonna be loose subtle things that you miss or you don't pick up one I don't think it's a good idea not something that I would do
