Boyfriend flirted with waitress and followed her on insta, should I worry?

I trust my boyfriend (26) 100% and I never have any issues with him following models on instagram. However we were out to dinner a few nights ago with some friends, and while I was in the bathroom he was flirting with the waitress. When I came back he was bright red and continued to flirt with her right in front of me. Later that night I (21) asked him if he thought she was cute (It wouldn't bother me whatsoever), and he said no. But yet he still made the effort to find her on insta and follow her (we were visiting a different state). I'm pretty lenient when it comes to relationships, because we're still two people who have different lives. But I was curious if this is okay in a relationship of 2 years. Personally, I wouldn't really do this to him let alone follow a cut server after a night out. I work in the restaurant industry and I know how it feels, it's straight up creepy af.

So he unfollowed her and was very honest about everything. I never set any boundaries regarding this issue, and he completely understood that it was disrespectful to me and our relationship. Thank you for your advice!

I feel like I am in the twilight zone where people are lacking common sense. Why are you dating this guy? This guy just cheated right in front of you, he disrespected you not once, but twice. The other girl shows they do not acknowledge or respect you either. You allow him to do this in front of you shows you lack respect for yourself, and lacking dignity and boundaries. This is a serious insecurity thing and he obviously does and wants something else. This is NEVER OK. Not even if you're married! Relationships are never like this and no healthy relationship has this kind of thing going on. I would have dropped that guy immediately. If you don't learn to respect yourself others will not respect you. You decide if you want to continue pretending you never got cheated on in public and right in your eyes, but you deserve better.

I think this depends on each couple, but in my opinion it's not normal couple behavior. I didn't follow other men or flirt with them or even carry on conversations with them in any DMs because that was disrespectful in my opinion and just opening the door for trouble. I want my partner to know that he can trust me and I want the same in return.

Well that isn't typical loyal behavior so I would probably want to nip that in the butt. Why would your man be flirting and adding another woman on social media. That is a big no no in my book.

I'll definitely talk to him about it, however I did invade his privacy by stalking who he followed. It was definitely wrong of me, but I had reasonable suspicion. I'm just going to bring up the fact that it's very disrespectful to our relationship.
