My boyfriend said I could gain 50 pounds and he won't care. I know it's silly but doesn't that suggest he just doesn't care how I look or like my appearance? If he did pay attention to how I look wouldn't he be interested in how I look and would care if I gained or lost a significant amount of weight?

No. You think you're unattractive because you care so much about your body. You have a man that loves you for you. No matter what happens he will always be by your side. Now unless you want to be considered for your body, then why are you with him? You can always leave them for somebody else who's going to treat you based on how you look. Then that person can leave you every single time your body changes what do you be big or small. Do you like that? Do you like to be treated as only for your body? He never said anything of what you had described. He said you can gain fifty pounds and he won't care. That means he's with you for you. Like it or not. There are men that do love. But they're rare. But if he's not enough for you, you can always leave him and let all the girls who desperately want him to have him, and then you can have your stuff exchange by every guy leaves you simply because again you don't love yourself. You decide when you want to start loving yourself. Despite with every other man want to try to tell you, not every man is about your body. If anything he want to make sure that your brain is correct, and where your mental is, and where you stand in your life. Guys like him that you have are hard to find I tell you that right now.

Asker. The first thing you need to learn to do as a woman. Never assume about a man. If he makes his statement clear that means exactly what he says. If he says he doesn't then he's the one that's not straight in his head. A man always mean what they say. This question is best as to him directly. We are not your boyfriend. He is your boyfriend. Therefore any questions that you have you always communicate that with him. You want to get into a relationship. This is what it means to be in a relationship. Stop being afraid to ask him direct questions. Stop being afraid or coward to communicate with him or else you will have problems in your relationship because of your assumptions and then you going to wish you had him back. I understand because all of us women and girls have been treated that way. And every man and every young boy who does not understand the words have and how they affect us, all the ones that's paying for it the most. You would have been looking at other women, he would have been actively trying to get involved, they would have been a lot of fun just suggested this. You with a good man. Now if you believe that your body and that aspect is the most important, then you are not compatible and you define a man who cares just as much about how you look physically and sexually as you do about yourself or aspect of that man if that is the kind of woman you are. A lot of you girls say you want a good man, you got a good man, now you don't know what to do with him or that relationship. Then if you get with a person that's not good for you, you can stop complaining about how bad that relationship is. So I don't know. Do you like bad relationships or you like good relationships? If this is really bad and distressing, then you may need therapy.

I think you are overreacting. I would think he said that in a positive way, its all about perception and yours is negative. I think what he means is that he will love you no matter what.

depends. if you're someone who has an eating disorder like the person i love then i wouldn't care because i know how much they struggle with their body image and mental health. but if it's someone like kay adams with no tits ass or thighs or someone as skinny as kendall jenner then by all means but as much weight on your body as you possibly can. the screwed up part kendall looked hot before she lost all that weight. now that she lost all that weight she doesn't look as attractive anymore. i wish she gained her old weight back. kay's situation she needs implants bad there's no other way around it and she needs to put weight on.
