Because we  can't control or change other people . That's a hard thing for people to accept, but that's realty. And that has an impact on what you must do to both ATTRACT and to KEEP a partner, which you need to do before you're going to be able to get (or keep)  love . In order to attract a partner, you need to bring things to the "table" that THEY consider to be valuable - which means you need to learn what the opposite sex in general, and that person in particular, finds valuable, because what YOU think is valuable is irrelevant. And to keep a partner, it means you must take responsibility for your own happiness, and you must be willing to work together with your partner as a team, and put the team first. This means you'll have to make some compromises, and give up SOME things that you want, in order to get a lot of other things you DO want - many of which you'd never get on your own. Nothing will "make" someone love you, or "guarantee" their ongoing love, but so many people seem to work so hard to disqualify themselves from the possibility of being loved by not having things to offer (or not caring to offer anything) or not being willing to work together as a team.

For me I personally don't want to do that I want to feel it coming for the person as being real is being true as being honest just so I can feel the depth of that I would never try to make anybody love me if they don't love me they just need to get away from me because they're just wasting my time and their own time so for me it has to be real that way my every kiss my every touch do I hold her everything is real

Love is not something you can make happen. Love is a connection between two people who were made for each other. No matter what you say, you were made for ONE person. Building a relationship of trust and love can take a while and forcing it often shows that at least one of the participants didn't REALLY want to have the relationship. Often when you "force" love, you're also basing the relationship, and building it around something superficial, something YOU think the other would want you to be.

There’s a saying that was used as a riddle on a nineties tv show I love. It goes something to the effect of: Love is selfless, non-possessive. We don’t own those we love. If we truly love someone, we need to love them enough to let them go. Gutting, but true.

The heart wants what the heart wants. I had a female friend that really checked all the boxes and I knew she wanted it to be more than it was. My intellect said that it would really make a lot of sense to be with her instead of my current girlfriend but I could not convince my little head of this fact.

Say maybe you didn't like veggies as a kid and you couldn't get up from table till you ate them. You did it but you didn't want to and you felt a certain way about it.
