What is love more importantly why are some unable to love?

I knew what it was when I felt my existence entangled with another and it danced in a beautiful balance with the other being everything and nothing all at once. My moon was a little brighter, my clouds a little lighter, my heart felt like the hole that was once their was gone. Colors became more vivid, every song that reminded me of how his eyes bore into mine was thrown on a playlist. His nervousness and stutter becoming one of my favorite things to hear because I know it made his heart flutter. He said he didn't have a purpose, I said me either. I knew since I was young and I told him I just started to tie myself to people and things along the way so I wouldn't let myself float up into the clouds, I said if you don't have a purpose I'll tie one to you and that is me. I knew he was my fresh air. The smell of earth during a rain. I said I know I've read you before, if I tore pages out of books and put them together I'd come up with the beautiful mess the universe calls you. And he cried, for he had never felt whole, never felt comfort.
He is, therefore I am.
Eternally fascinated, by you.

Love is giving of yourself to others around you. The closer you want to be to an individual, the more you give. And often that love will be reflected back to you in reciprocation. That’s probably just part of it but it’s a start. Those who are unable to give or nurture other’s hopes and dreams, might want to look in their past and find the sacrifices others had made for them, and try to duplicate that for those in their circle
