That card does not work on me. I am far too perceptive and well experienced in the patterns of human behavior. And When has Non-Binary not translated into "Young Woman desperate for attention"?
He doesn't know what he's talking about. Its people who naturally have more traditionally masculine or feminine features; usually due to hormonal disorders. Honestly I'm pretty shocked at how many people don't know what it is. And even more shocked by how many people are bringing mental health into it when they're entirely ignorant. Being androgynous isn't something you can make yourself be just by putting on a suit, having short hair, or wearing a dress and makeup. Its just the bone structure and general natural build of a person.
Just someone who looks more masculine or feminine than what is traditional. Pretty much all androgynous folk are obvious that they're the gender that they were assigned at birth; but they look more in between. Such as a woman with a strong sharp jaw, or a man with a lean and thin figure. Although just one thing wouldn't be enough to really classify as that.
A lot of androgynous folk tend to be runway or high fashion models, that's why they also tend to have stories of being bullied growing up. Its not for everyone, but for those who appreciate the beauty in something unique; its well sought after.
Thats completely fair enough and I would hope they are I simply dont think I would be attracted to a women that has masculine features dont mean I think they are ugly just I'm not attracted to them
Yeah, that's why a lot of people don't find a woman like billie eilish attractive either. She leans into her androgynous side sometimes as well, which I think is fun. Being secure in femininity or masculinity without feeling the need to change your gender. But even when she's very dressed up, its clear she still looks a bit different than a typical woman. Though she'd be more on the lower end of androgeny. Its understandable, just the sad truth is a lot of people are hateful or bully those for it. Thats why so many short skinny boys with weak chins get thrown into the dumpster. Or tall girls with broad shoulders and a strong jaw get hazed and gossiped about.
She is. Strong jaw, wide chin, low brow bone and thick brows. She's not traditional, to say the very least. Thats why her face is unforgettable. She stands out amongst the more feminine women.
That's usually true of androgynous folk. They'll look more like the gender they're born as, but with a lot of the opposite as well. She's still very clearly a woman, but she's boyish too. Sometimes its someone whose confusing, split right down the middle. Or its someone who looks like the opposite gender. But those two are more atypical.
So I did a little Google search of examples of androgynous women and decided as with most things some I would have been attracted to others I wouldn't so ill say I'm in the middle and would date as long as I was attracted to them
Thats more the kinda of response I thought I'd find in the comments tbh. The fact that everyone was all "hell no" perplexed me a lot. Like everything its a spectrum of yes and nos unless you have a very narrow idea of what you're willing to date. Which whatever floats their boat I guess.
Most likely just a poor understanding of what it is I'm still not solid on it but understand its much bigger area then I first thought for me the word made me think of women that looked like guys but meh
Its for men and women. To put in another perspective, it can be due to genetics to make this kind of presentation as well. Such as German woman looking more masculine, or korean men more feminine. Interesex or hormonal disorders can also cause this kind of look. Pcos effects 10% of women and usually the hormones cause them to present more masculine also. It can also just be having more features from a parent of the opposite sex too. There are ways to force it, such as surgery or hormonal pills/foods (soy actually makes men more effeminate, and a lot of the fats, sugars, and oils and hormones in foods can make women more masculine.) I grew up knowing the term. I didn't realize it was this obscure, I thought it was well known. b
No I only found out about the term itself in recent years before it was just tomboy 😅 I guess its one of those things once u know you know but if u don't might aswell be magic until explained or researched

Short answer: no.
Long answer: no, but with more words.
That card does not work on me. I am far too perceptive and well experienced in the patterns of human behavior. And When has Non-Binary not translated into "Young Woman desperate for attention"?

My boyfriend kinda looks androgynous when he has long hair
No. Call me crazy, but I like women who look like women.
@thatkendy I would never date an androgynous person because my Spidey-sense tells me I share absolutely nothing in common with an androgynous person.
It just means we can’t determine sex at the moment. I would imagine eventually I would.
No. I like chicks who look like girlie girls. Hourglass bodies and long hair.
I didn’t even understand your clarification. Where’s the “Key” for this fable, so that I can see what your rationalization process is.”
Androgynous is non binary because nobody can determine if you’re male or female or mtf ftm
never. If possible, I'd rather date a man like a man.
What are we then defining as a androgynous person?
Just someone who looks more masculine or feminine than what is traditional. Oh I see more likely then not no then I guess

Wait I wouldn't class her as that maybe I dont understand properly 😅
She is. Strong jaw, wide chin, low brow bone and thick brows. She's not traditional, to say the very least. Thats why her face is unforgettable. She stands out amongst the more feminine women.
Ah fair enough I would say she still obviously looks feminine but meh 🤷🏽♂️

No I only found out about the term itself in recent years before it was just tomboy 😅 I guess its one of those things once u know you know but if u don't might aswell be magic until explained or researched
Naaah tomboy is just a term for girls who like more boyish things. They often happen to be androgynous but its not a rule of thumb.
I know that now lol but back then that would have been the word I used but yeah it not somthing that gets talked about that much like I think this is the first time I have had a in detail convo about it in my life 😅
Its really nice that you were so open to one.

Sure, ruby ross is hot so i don't see why not.
I'm attracted to feminine women
Yes ! Androgynous women look so cool
i dont know what that is
Probably not. I hate the look.
Sure, sign me up lol.
If they have a female figure I might consider it.
Nope. I am not even dating women with short hair.
