I do not particularly care for it, but some people are just too judgey and judge everything. everyone has their opinions, but oh well
My aunt is in an interracial relationship and they're incredibly happy. They've been married for 12 years now.

And also, "race" is 19th century pseudo-science. Everyone came from Africa. Our ancestors were hunter-gatherers, so they travelled a lot, and created settlements wherever they went. Their features evolved over time to adapt to that particular climatic conditions and environment. Fun fact: blonde hair evolved in sun deficient climates so that the body could synthesize vitamin D more efficiently. Also, around 10,000 years ago people were known to have only brown eyes, a mutation that later happened in an individual caused some people to have blue eyes. People with blue eyes share a single, common ancestor. In short, race is a social construct. Its a human invented classification system to define physical differences between people.

They're a couple: simple as that. I don't even consider them "interracial," because why put a special title on people and whom you choose to love or date?

It's the 21st century folks: why do people still make a big deal out of interracial couples? The only people that do, are typical the ones that have an issue with it. Everyone else just sees a couple.

And yes, I've dated outside my race and it's never been a big deal for me. If anything, it's usually the other person and/or their family that has an issue with it.

Couples are couples. Some are right together and some aren’t.

Usually the only time race plays a factor in a relationship is concerning the family members.

My cousin is white and his last serious relationship was with someone who was black. And her mother hated my cousin, and her mother’s boyfriend kept trying to assault him by instigating fights.

I doubt there’s usually anything other than romance or love being seen between two people who are together. But in the eyes of family members I think they have the potential of becoming judgmental.

People should just love the person for their personality not because they look like a certain person. So I don't care everyone should be free to love whoever they seen fit as long as both parties aren't trying to abused the other I say let love be love.

I actually think it's really cute and sweet because they've got past there differences and are taking interest in one another's cultures. It makes me smile when I see interracial couples because It makes me think "wow look how far we've gotten as a society now that's it's seen as perfectly normal for people from different cultures and races can relate and show each other love from were society was at only a couple few years back"

Its ok, I think about it for 2 seconds then it's more a question to me of values and culture and personalities... how they work things out.

They have the same odds of getting divorced/breaking up just as much as same-race couples / same sex couples.

They're not any more special in terms of relationship longevity than anyone else's type 😀😐
