No, the opposite in fact.

The way I see it, is if she has kids already, but is single, it's far more likely something is wrong with her.

That may sound harsh, but think of it this way.

With the exception of rape victims, and young widows (both of which are very rare), every other single mom near my age either was a jerk, or dated a jerk (or both). And even women who are nice, but had kids with jerks, would make a poor match for me.

This is because from my point of view, that woman doesn't think about the consequences to her actions, if she did, she wouldn't be in that situation, and thats a polar opposite to my personality, as I've avoided sex entirely until I find the perfect match, just to avoid that predicament.

She is also the type to settle, which is also my polar opposite. Why would that make something wrong with her? Well, if you look at things objectively, the only reason anything is wrong with anyone is a matter of personal opinion, it's the result of disgust, dissaproval, or more to the point, fear, which everyone has their own bias about.

Thats a whole other issue. You haven't made it to the starting line. Its common knowledge men generally want the whole marry and kids thing with younger women. So while you had the largest selection of men to choose from, you did not choose one. Now you have a smaller fertility window and smaller selection of men. Thats fine you didn't want it to be a priority when you were young or you had hangups about it then. But think from a mans perspective... here is a woman who either had other priorities or has some kind of hangups about following through... of course those are both negatives in finding the ideal mother for our kids. So yes people who objectively think about your situation will assume something is wrong with you. Not to say you're a bad person but just not the typical good girl people understand.

There was a selection of men. What happens is young girls ignore the more serious men because they want to get to know you. While you're all focused on the hottest guys the ones who have game, flashy, smooth. Im not saying anything bad or wrong because im quite smooth myself but girls pay attention to the man hitting on them and not the one busy working overtime and trying to get established so he can provide for a family and when he is available he wants to ask about family and stuff like that. Girls usually find that boring.

Studies show essentially all men will date women aged 18 to 22 this includes even much much older men. And every year past that it drops a few percent until you hit about 28 to 30 then it drops a lot fast. And then 40 it drops like nothing and stays there. For men its the opposite. Hardly any women want to date an 18 year old guy. Even 18 year old girls. As men age more and more women tend to find us good to date. So for a man around your age, dating is the best its ever been and getting better year after year. While your selection is getting worse and worse.

So here is a man around your age or a few years older. He has literally every age woman to choose from. If he wants casual sex he has many girls to choose from. If he wants a family he has girls who are like 20 who say "my dream is to have a family as many as you want but i hope 2 to 4, and i dont care much about school or work because being a mom and a wife is my top priority, careers and education and drinking at the bar and going on vacations etc all come in low on my list" so when a man has to make a big committment to have a family do you think an older woman who had other priorities comes off as a better bet? No they dont.
