What restaurant would you go to for a first date?

As for me I love food trucks & food truck rodeos & I would save those for a later date & as for the first date McDonald’s here we come.

I’ll bring a tablecloth, candles, fine tableware & Happy Meals we would have. As for me would set the whole thing up with the general manager ahead of time.

As my date if she isn’t willing to go through that kind of a date she isn’t good enough for me or the fancy restaurant’s I would take her in the future.

Mostly none of the above. If we met online, then the first date is not dinner, just coffee or a drink or maybe lunch. But if I am acquainted with a woman and ask her to dinner, we're going to a fine restaurant, but not the finest in town. The total bill will probably be somewhere between $125 and $200.

Any of the above, I'm not picky but I also don't eat a lot, for me it is about getting to know him. A nice quiet place is better to talk and chat, I had a date not too long ago walking through a winter market and eating at a food truck out in the cold while we sat on a bench and talked.

Wasn't first date, but was 3rd or so, and it was nice.

After my divorce, when I was dating, the first date was often an Italian restaurant. That was the first date with my SO, and we're still together, 6 years later.

A nice restaurant is a good place for a first date. It's romantic, quiet, time for a relaxing meal, and a good place to talk and get to know each other.

Italian Restaurant hands down. I love Italian food, the decorations in those restaurants are always beautiful, and damn, just Europeann. McDonald's seems like the cheap "idgaf" place to take your girlfriend to. Food trucks, seriously? And Chinese takeout? lmaooo. The only correct option is the Italian one. The rest are where poor, bummy dead beats would take their gfs.

I like a non-standard things so I always suggest like a sushi or something a little exotic because I have a taste for many different things except for Indian food oh God but if they're a boring eater it's not a deal-breaker but I know I'm going to be in for a lot of boring meals

A restaurant that's somewhat fancy (but not too expensive). I like spicy food so it most likely won't be an Italian restaurant. I'd pick a place that has options for different palates. But it would be a restaurant.

I've always been the type of guy to match the date to what the girl is wearing. If she's dressed nice, we go fancy. If she's super-casual, something like a food truck is fine.
