I just started finding Applebees and TGI Fridays tolerable in 2018. And then those mfs closed down for good after the pandemic hit 😂 I love Olive Garden but i dont love the smell of garlic on eachother. I’ve always wanted to try Texas Roadhouse but i’d be too full to do anything after. Chilis used to be a fave but is overrated now. Cheesecake Factory is overrated too. I dont like Red Lobster nor the smell of seafood. So i know for sure i wouldn't go to Red Lobster or OG on a date. I’ll settle for any of the others but hard to choose since i’m not crazy about any. I guess I’ll choose Chilis cause i love their honey chipotle sauce
Soooo good! I just ate it all weekend. I started it as a kid when i had it on their ribs. Then i ate it on their crispers. Now i just order a burger and pour it on top lol
I voted apple bees because I love their cheese dip with Nachos. I liked Olive Garden too when they used to be around in Canada but I prefer apple bees, not only for their food, but also for their family like atmosphere.
Ewww. Why would I "have to take my date to one of those restaurants?" I would never eat there myself unless there was nothing else convenient. In Seattle there are hundreds of restaurants I would pick instead of one of those.
Agree…
None of them are in my country lol

None of them as they are all chain restaurants with sort of mediocre food, but if I had no choice, I would pick the Cheesecake Factory as at least it has an extensive menu and a few of their offerings are fairly good. The one local to me is good for brunch and they usually (not always) make things correctly.
Definitely not Applebee's. They're always too busy and their service sucks.
There's a reason Texas Roadhouse won, and that's because it's the best restaurant in this group. Chili's is #2 by a very close margin.
Ehh.
I don't particularly care for any of those.
I chose cheesecake factory, but they were the only options I'd rather just go grocery shopping with them and cook at home.
I chose Texas Roadhouse, she doesn't like a steak then this relationship isn't going to work
My actual opinion would be 'none of the above'. But since you forced me to choose, I went with Cheesecake Factory. Even if it reeks of garlic. It's still the nicest, IMHO and has the most diverse menu - not to mention some great desserts!
Wow, that is a hard choice more me.
I love Texas Road House and Red Lobster.
Those would be my favs.
Olive Garden and the Cheesecake Factory are a close 2nd.
I think I'd choose Red Lobster. That is what my vote would be for.
We'd go to Olive Garden. It has a good selection of food, usually not extremely busy and quieter than most of the other restaurants. During the date, we like to talk as well as eat and drink.
…Omg… I love you @Darine123
But make a guess on what he likes maybe?
none… yuck… only go if out of nowhere and had to eat something…
Have to pick… Cheesecake Factory.. but no Secind date after 😝
Option F, cause it's the only one (besides G) I've never been to, before.
Texas Roadhouse. Even if she doesn't like the chow, I know that I will.
I’m trying to get my dick wet, so none of these. For an established relationship, Texas Roadhouse. The rest suck.
T G I Friday seem more realistic for a first or second date. Then Red lobster' cheesecake factory
Texas Roadhouse. When my wife behaves I bring home that butter and lick it off her nips.
You should always go cheap for a first date. That removes the pressure from both sides. If she expects expensive stuff, she belongs to the streets.
I don’t go cheap because I don’t enjoy chain restaurants and the women i I’m interested in probably won’t either. I certainly don’t want to give the impression that I have no taste and that’s what she can expect if she dates me. There are plenty of good restaurants that are only a little more expensive than the chains.
@slatyb It's not about "taste". This is a trial period. You should be vetting her even more than she is vetting you. Dinner is just the side gig. Sure, you should both be able to find something to eat, but you shouldn't be blowing resources on a woman you know next to nothing about. That privilege should be reserved for your girlfriend, not a first date.
@slatyb And I can afford to buy a new gun every other week, but it is not financially responsible to do so. A lot of us can do a lot of stupid things. Not doing them is what separates us from the apes. You'll get a much more honest reaction from a woman if you don't shower her in dough. Anyone will act like they like you for money.
Texas roadhouse for sure. Applebee's just became popular recently due to a song
National chains aren’t very good. You find much better food at local restaurants.
Agree
Zero difference to me. As long the food is good I'm in.
TGI Fridays, Chilis, Texas Roadhouse.
Note: Never visited any myself yet lol.
First or second date no restaurant because if you don't see again you waste money. These look like cheap family restaurants not for your committed girlfriend
