Ha! Yeah you're funny... Being completely serious though, no you don't need a good amount of status. A huge majority of men (I'd dare even say all men) don't care about a girl's status. All she really needs is to be attractive (to him at least), be fun to be around, give him peace, and make him feel good about the day and she'll have him. This is why you see what is basically rich guys/handsome guys dating girls that are average in either finances or looks or even both. Keeping him though is the real challenge that women struggle with.

That's a big misconception women have. Most men don't care about your status or income.

You don't even need a good amount of status, you could be beautiful, sitting somewhere and a random guy will probably make a move or develop feelings for you.

That possibility is higher in schools.
