The important thing when you talk to elder people or adults is that you don't let yourself be dragged into talking about sexuality.

The reason is that, you being a child, the law is pretty serious when it comes to the topic of sexual contacts (verbal and physical) between adults and children.

You could get the adult in serious trouble if you fake your age or lie about your real age.

Talking about non sexual topics is no issue whatsoever. I see the problem more that adults will refrain from talking to you once they find out your real age because of the potential conflicts.
