If someone offered you, would you trade all memories of your current and ex-partners for healing, strength, and longevity? Why or why not?

healing... is something I have to do for myself by myself, only this way, it will be meaningful
same with strength, it has to come from within... not magically out of nowhere
longevity could become a nightmare that never ends... if lessons are not really learned
Good points..
Show me your fangs..

I donât think I would.
Itâs better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.
Besides these experiences made me a better partner as well.
I learned what works and what doesnât.
So Iâll keep them even if sometimes they hurt on a lonely Sunday afternoon.
Thatâs just adulthood.
Thatâs true..
Lets do something together on the next Sunday afternoon đ
With pleasure
No, some of my memories are truly irreplaceable. Some of my experiences in those relationships have made me grow as a person. I learned some very valuable lessons
Definitely..
Lol do you remember this?

Very funny đ
Do you eat meat? .. because you canât win me with salad đŤŞđ
Donât mind the weird emoji.. I just found about it today and I am playing around with it đ
I'm Pescatarian but mostly vegetarian for almost 2 years now lol đ
I make a really good mixed beans salad đĽ đ
With quinoa , its so good
No I am kidding đ
Actually that sounds very delicious đ
How about my vegetarian lasagna instead?
No. My memories of those I love, mostly just my life, in general, are important to me. I already HAVE longevity and strength and can probably find ways to heal, just not from a broken heart, like the one I'm suffering with, now! They only Band-Aid that'll help that is someone VERY, VERY special in my life coming back to me, the way things SHOULD be!!! ::Tears!::
I have at least one ex I wouldn't much mind purging from my memory, I have absolutely NO use for her but, if I remove her from my memory, a lot of other important memories I need will also go away. Best I can do is think of her as little as possible.
I would say no just because without the hurt, pain and bad memories I wouldn't have become the strong and aware person I am today.
Absolutely đ
No, the memories I've made define who I am. Trading them also means I'll make the same mistakes again in the future.
I have all of that already with my current partner.
Nice đ
@ElenaLena No never. Even though I made mistakes, I would never trade the memories for anything.
What do you mean, "healing strength and longevity"?
You live longer and you become stronger and healthier
Well i could answer this but you wouldn't understand my answer.
So let me just say we get old frail and die for a reason. Nobody wants to get old. But at some point believe it or not you don't want to do life over either. To change my past would be to change me and the person i've become. And i don't want to do that. God has brought me a long way to this point. And some of those learning experiences i definitely don't want to revisit.đ
Sounds like a jack and bean stock, deal with the devil thing.
Maybe đ
Whatâs in the past should stay in the past; one needs to think with maturity.
I donât trade my memories thatâs part of my past. Itâs stored in my mind for eternity. Thatâs non-negotiable. And a lot of my memories is whatâs keeping me going in life
It would be tempting but Nietzche wrote "What does not kill me will make me stronger"
and the very next day he caught neurosyphilis... lol
For eternal youth and life? Instantly
