If you died, would you want your partner to find a new person?

This is a topic my wife and I discussed at lenght, and we both want for the other to find a new partner if one of us passes away.

She wants me to find a good woman who can also be a good mother to our children, and likewise I wish for her to find a worthy man to take my place if I die.

2. Even if I did, in this scenario id be dead so I don’t think id care. She would most definitely have some other guy on the side ready to get with anyway. They all do. All of my exes cheated on me so I honestly wouldn’t be surprised.

We have discussed this very early on when we met. It took my mum 11 years to feel able to find a new guy after my dad died.

My partner does not want my to wait that long if anything happens to him. That's my feeling if anything should happen to me. I 'd want him to find a new lady.

If I ever died, I would want my future partner to be happy in life, even if I'm no longer there on Earth with them. So yes. Would I be sad? Yes, because I wouldn't be able to be there for them & give the love and affection they need. But death is out of my control, so it is what it is.

Both my husband and I have made it very clear indeed, that we would hope and wish that heaven's forbid one of us should pass away, then the other would seek out finding love and happiness with a new partner.

Very much so if it makes her happy and the man takes care of her. I'm dead at this point so I don't see why I should care (I can't). Yet before I die, I wouldn't want to see her sad and lonely for long after I'm dead.

Yes, it is best for you to move on with someone new. You aren’t with that person anymore & they aren’t on this earth for anyone else.
