Is 27 too old? Depends on what the guy is looking for. By 27, she's probably looking at settling down after she's slept/dated around and a guy might not be interested in being such a safety net for that type of woman or interested in that level of commitment yet.

Some guys want younger because younger girls can be more fun, more energetic, and more youthful than older women. Some girls don't age well; even by 27 she could have let herself go. Women in their late 20s could also have a lot of baggage from past relationships that make them cynical and more difficult to deal with; baggage that younger women don't necessarily have.

There's lots of reasons why a guy would want to go younger that don't have to do with manipulation, despite what some women want to believe.
