I dated with a guy that I thought is looking for a serious relationship. He was a gentleman on the first date. Then we had our second date unexpectedly because I happened to be near his area. We ate and chatted a little bit, then when he brought me to my car. He asked me if he can kiss me. I said, yeah sure. Then he said that "are you okay if we get more intimate next time, but please be careful not to fall in love."

I was shocked at first because I didn't expect that I am seeing a guy who only wants sex for the first time. I said, "Okay, I'll try not to fall."

I'll be honest. I am attracted to him and kinda emotionally attached. But I think I can put aside the emotional attachment and maybe try even once.

If you're already emotionally attached, I'd say walk now to save yourself heartbreak later on down the line. If on the other hand you stay and create a physical relationship with him with no emotion, if you do fall for him thats solely on you and for you to deal with and not his fault.

You can try, but it isn't something I would do or have faith that it would work. It is way too easy to start to form emotional connections. If you do and the other side doesn't, it can be awkward and lead to issues.
