should I ask my friend out? I don't know if he likes me the same way i like him. He said he enjoys talking to me. Will this ruin our friendship if I tell him how I feel?

I told him how I felt and he said he felt the same. We are now dating :)

I would proceed cautiously. You can hint that you'd like to try and go out as a couple, but he might not feel the same and it could ruin your friendship or you might learn he felt that way all along and that might make you upset. I still think it's worth trying though, because who loves you more and knows you more than a good friend and if there's feelings, that's even better.
