I travel for work, most time I stay in different cities (the company is operating from 4 cities at the moment). This and last month, I've been staying in my fav city, fav hotel.
I think that the waiter from the hotel has a little crush on me. He seems a bit shy and nervous around me.
I think he is really cute and I do like this type of shy guys. However, recently I have broken up with my ex and I am not sure I am quite ready for something new, plus he is a smoker, which is a deal-breaker for me.
The thing is, I would like to let him know that he is a good-looking guy and that there's no need for this shyness. Basically give him a confidence boost I guess but I am not sure that that is a good idea. What do you think? Should I ask him out to tell him that or just let him stay in his shell?

Yeah just literally ask him and being a waiter most waiters aren’t really that shy unless they’re new because you simply get used to talking to people. If he’s nervous and he’s usually confident around others this could be a really good sign that he really likes you and finds you attractive. Maybe he is shy I don’t know him but just see where it goes.
Being nervous can be a really good or bad sign. Being shy and nervous is usually a good one. Now someone can be nervous because they feel extremely uncomfortable around someone too. But that doesn’t seem like the case.
If it's something casual cool, but if you think it'll turn into something serious while having that job then no, duh.
If it helps you sleep at night
Would it do more harm than good?
