This guy I have been seeing was away for over a month. During this time we texted and talked daily and he made me feel he is interested.

Now he is back and he is not saying anything about getting together even though he was out with his buddies already.

I was going to ask him out. Should I or should I wait for him to ask me?

It's okay for you to reach out and show your interest in him - you don't have to wait for him to initiate. If he is interested in you, he won't mind this at all, and he will find it endearing to see you want to see him.
