Should I ask my ex to prom?

Okay, well I dated my ex for around 7 months, and it was wonderful, we didn't really fight much or nothing really, and we really hit it off. And well at the beginning of the next school semester, she kind of just left me, not really giving me a reason or anything which crushed me. But it has been over 2 months now since then, and I still have the same feelings towards her, and I do miss her a lot.

And well prom is in about 2 months or less now, and I would absolutely love to ask her out to prom, and make it a wonderful night for her full of fun. And to see her in a beautiful dress would just blow my mind.

I am just wondering, should I ask her out to prom? Or would that be a bad idea? And if you think I should ask her to prom, maybe you could give me a great idea how to ask her to it, because I have been trying to decide what to do.

sure it'd be awesome to see her in her dress, probably even better for you with it on the floor..lol but anyways, you guys dated, she obviously found another guy(?) or something along those lines...dont make any moves, but just be cool and content...dont be shy, be YOURSELF be that guy she liked, feel me?

but on the ohter hand it can be a bad idea because you can have all these plans to make her feel well and she could be completely weird about it...are you guys on a talking basis? what's the situation with that?

Well she did try and date some other dude (lasted like one week lol) but it was just some complete drug guy, which made no sense at all. And also, we haven't really talked much, cause she has been busy like normal. But not much talking at all between me and her.

And also, its not like I just want to have sex with her or anything like that (lol about that dress on the floor), but I want to actually see her just looking like a princess, and to dance with her too, she always loved to dance with me.
