I'd say it is because they don't actually look like that and most women get inflated egos from how they look with makeup on. I've heard women argue that it isn't because it should be obvious that they're wearing make up. Well no shit but we can't tell what you look like without it, that's the problem and most of the time, it's significantly worse
No, I think y’all are just slow. to me it’s VERY obvious when a woman is wearing a lot of make up. If you look at a woman with obvious foundation, black eyelids, and these big long fake lashes and think that’s what she naturally looks like, you’re an idiot. You can’t be surprised when a woman looks different when she takes her make up off. If y’all are that concerned about catfishing or “false advertisement” then date a woman who doesn’t wear make up
Makeup can only do so much, it’s all about editing and lighting. In person these celebs don’t look like that. Makeup isn’t surgery so many women u meet look the same without makeup, just more tired lol
No. I think not. It can be deceiving but no. What's deceiving is editing and filtering your videos and pictures to the point where it doesn't even look like you or you don't look like that irl!

A lot of women transform into different people with makeup. Look at those with severe acne, plus Asian women look very different without makeup.
Yes it is. I've literally worked with a girl who is an instagram model and she looks 3 points less attractive than she actually does in her photos online when you see her without makeup.
Makeup is such an amazing wonder tool it can even make gay men look more feminine when they put it on their face. Just look at this tranny who put some biological women to shame with the use of makeup.
I feel like a boomer for coming at this with such an old out look. But for me, a cat fish is when you see these sexy women on tinder or something and half of them are either bots or a fat dude eating chicken wings in Wyoming.
Now if you're asking if it's misrepresentation, than maybe? But how different is it to a guy rolling up in a Benz he rented for the night to trick some drunk chick into thinking he's rich. It depends on the context I guess.
Guys are smart enough to know the girl looks different with makeup compared to without I think, and in most cases they look better natural just for the fact that a natural look is and looks more real.

Most natural makeup styles are undetectable 😂, by the time you see her without any makeup you are already hooked emotionally
I always think females look better with out that mess. I’m not alone most men think this , makeup isn’t about men it’s about women trying to keep up with other women.
Nah. A lot of women tend to look pretty below average in looks when they don't have makeup on when we compare them to guys. Only very few women can pull off natural beauty and still look attractive (like that of a model) without the use of makeup.
I think the issue is guys are not used to women with no makeup. almost every woman out there covers their face in makeup from a young age, so guys don't grow up seeing women without makeup. In my honest opinion (and you're welcome to deny the idea), it would probably help women reduce stress by not having to worry about putting on makeup, plus it would help with letting the skin breathe and just do basic skin care for a while.
Depends on the difference between the before and after. If you literally looks like stir-fried shit without makeup but you're cute with makeup, yeah then it's catfishing. If you're pretty without make and just look slightly better with makeup, then no, it's no big deal.
No, it's obvious when a woman is wearing makeup. You still look like you without makeup, you just don't have purple eyelids or perfectly smooth skin because nobody does.

One of my friends told me about natural makeup or a no-makeup look with makeup. I was really surprised that she had indeed put much stuff on her face but they are not showing at all. Actors do it too.
Yeah we all know women are fake as foook. I don’t date women who cake makeup on. Little lip stuff and eye stuff the rest of that shit they can shove it up their ass.

Yes but to be fair most people put their best foot forward when first meeting. I always like to say you're not actually meeting that person. You're meeting that person's representative lol. So to be brutally honest no one is being completely truthful when you first meet them. Besides so she's hiding a couple wrinkles or blemishes. You were attracted to her right? I mean something drew you to her. Are you going to throw a Ferrari away because it has a couple scratches in it?

Dude report her! You're not allowed to talk derogatory about other G@Gers and she didn't mention you by name but she went as far as tag your question which essentially the same thing. If you read all her questions they're all the same thing she is a very bitter slag. I don't know who hurt her but her bitterness is very evident.
I really agree with you on this one. I haven't been wearing make-up since 2015. I got a lot of criticism about it but this way some people say I'm pretty cool
Yes, at least to a point. Most don't put as much make up at least where I live but yes when there's so much you can't recognize a person it become problematic.
How about working out in the gym and styling my hair like David Bowie in his 20's? I was pretty in and not catfishing. Ok. #1 could use a skin specialist.

Ok... but many of them don't. Don't put all of us in a bubble!

@AncientWisdom most of the time they are keeping up the competition to attract higher males too
I don't know I think they do it for themselves. you could be right in some cases.

@Aurora1010 yeah we are all so stupid.

You can still tell..

If it changes how your entire facial structure looks (like in the photos) it for sure is, dont see why anyone would say no to that😂
See , a lot of that happen in real life. Celebs, Insta influencers look way different in real.
I would just call it fraud though. I have never understood makeup, everyone has flaws on their face... who the hell judges people for that?
I really agree with you on this one. I haven't been wearing make-up since 2015. I got a lot of criticism about it but this way some people say I'm pretty cool

I mean that’s your own fault for thinking girls have gold glitter on their eyelids naturally.
Those are not normal everyday setup, I guess. Hiding marks, aging, drawing eyebrows where you don't have any are. 😅

Nope, that's what we call stupid tax. If you're stupid enough not to realize what's going on, then that's on you.
No, cat fishing is when you pretend to be somebody else.
Isn't the first girl doing the same?
No she’s not she’s wearing makeup not disguising herself. You can obviously tell she is the same person
Maybe sometimes. However, for guys like me who don’t like makeup in the first place, it has the opposite effect.
