I have dated a developmentally disabled young woman I'd met coincidentally during a triple date.
Her companion made a near lethal mistake of taking a verbal disagreement to the physical level and 'won' himself being physically THROWN down a 30ft flight out door concrete stairs. We dated for over two years when my college studies necessitated we part ways.
NO ONE strikes a woman FIRST, in my presence!
Any physical altercation MUST be moderate & proportional in self-defense of being FIRST struck BY that female. (Yes I'm THAT MUCH a pragmatic 'dinosaur Romantic' )
I have autism and my girlfriend has ADHD. We're amazing together and I would have never considered dating her if I only looked for neurotypical people.
I have some goals, it doesn't matter If you are handikap or not, If you can't fullfill them, then no thanks.
Love me as I love you?
Build together?
Give me kids?
Communicate?
Give me attention?
You and me work?
Can support each other?
Mental and sexual satifation?
Yes, they deserve love as much as anyone else.

Physical, sure.
Mental... Case by case. I've been with crazy before and won't ever do that again, and being with someone who is actually slow doesn't sit right. It seems exploitive even though that's not my intent.
I don't think the relationship would last long if they were dependent on other people in order to function, as it's always better to be wanted than needed. In any case, this hypothetical woman would still have to be genuinely interesting and likeable.
Woman is a woman regardless if she's handicapped. Yes it would be annoying to help her out in situations that she can't do to herself like use the bathroom but in the end if you're in a relationship you are loyal to her until she does no longer need you.
For me personally, it depends on the level of severity, not because I don't like people with handicaps, but because I don't have a high level of patience, and it'd be better for that person if I didn't date them. I think they should have the same amount of love given to the as everyone else, but they have to find the right person to do so, and I'm just not that person due to my low tolerance level.
It is something I'm working on though, so there's that...
depends on the handicap and how it affects them.
i change baby asses, and I have no intention of dating someone I'll have to change their ass for, at least until we're old.
My rule is as soon as I can't wipe myself put me in the ground. Even if I'm still alive lol
Yes why not? But even disabled people are so cool and selfish. You accept him as a healthy person, but he wants better and more beautiful ones from you. I don't think you need to be too modest. 😒
What happens they don’t drive at all. Lots of girls turn people down if they don’t drive.
What are you talking about @scott04sa22?
Yes of course I would, my boyfriend was born with a disability and it has gotten so bad now that the doctors told him he can't even work anymore. I love him to death and even planning on proposing to him.
I guess it depends on what kind of disability they have. But if my current partner had an accident that puts him in a bed or on a wheelchair I would not leave his side and take care of him.
depends on it. But it'll be not very easy. If it would be a wheelchair case it won't work: we then can't do stuff together: no skiing, no hiking, no travelling, everything takes more time (especially out in public, public transport) and I dont have the goal to be a care taker at the end
No. It may carry legal implications in my country. Why would I do this, and risk getting arrested for rape on our honeymoon night (as though feminists with their stupidity haven't complicated men's dating lives enough)? I'd rather do the sensible thing and hold out for a more physically able woman who is healthier and can actually choose to be with me!
Depends on the disability and how severe it is.
Of course I would definitely not date a person with a mental handicap that impedes them from having an adult relationship.
When it comes to physical handicaps it would depend on how severe. I would not want to become nothing more than a caretaker for the person.
Yeah. Absolutely. It's not even on my list of potential deal breakers.
Can I ask you a question
Is it a penis question.
Is a average penis a dealbreaker for you?
No. Penis size is not on my list either.
@Medicalbug he's obsessed with his average sized penis.
dude acting like its a fucking handicap
Yup. His profile is one penis question after another. He should at least keep it private so he has some kind element of surprise.
No why would I? It's a bad choice, only person I would date would be a long term partner becoming handicapped. But it's also really depends on the handicap. If some is for example deaf on one ear, it's really not that bad of a handicap.
if we had a very serious relationship and he got injured while we were dating, then it'd be fine, i'd support regardless. but if this was before the relationship, i wouldn't be able to, personally.
I wouldn't see an issue. If I can connect with them healthily in all areas and we love each other that's what matters.
Sure I don't see a problem with it and me and two of my friends are actually good friends with someone who uses a wheelchair
If they had a physical handicap, probably. But a mental one? No.
Like ones that want me to be their right hand man? Leg to stand on? Breath of fresh air? Better thought?
How many more disabled puns can you add?
If it’s a disability where they need help showering and going to the bathroom everyday, as long as they have a personal carer who isn’t me, then that’s fine.
I’m disabled myself so I don’t go out of my way to only date healthy people.
I wish I had the option to answer the truth anonymously and tell sweet lies with my real account.
No. I'm physically healthy and I don't date someone who is not.
Yes, there are many different levels of disability.
Scott04 you are an a-h for labeling all handicapped people as retards and slow.
Nope, if they got like during the relationship no problem I'd date them, thats different. It's a responsibility I am not willingly going to sign up for with a partner.
It depends, if they are like mentally handicapped it might feel weird. But if they are in a wheelchair or something I'm not bothered.
Your options are clearly biased and this is coming from someone who has a disease that crippled most people later on in life.
I'm glad you asked this, I was considering the same question. Because I happen to be one of those people.
i would like to say i would, and they do deserve to be happy as anyone is, i think if i do it i would have trouble with it. but it is more on me than on anyone else.
Probably not if I'm being honest. Why? Because I know if the roles were reversed women would look down on me if I were handicapped.
if a woman is ugly, handicapped and with no friends or family then she's a keeper.
As long as she could still take care of herself. She needs to be independent and be able to handle kids when I’m not with her.
If she had a wheelchair, I’d offer to push her.
It's common for men to be with a physically disabled girl.
It is common for Women to be with a mentally disabled guy.
No. It's just not convenient, not that I have anything against them.
If i somehow happened to fall in love with them. Its ok. I like taking care of people
Course i would. I had a lot of people in my life that had different disabilities or impairments
Of course. That's not a problem at All
It's important to treat anyone without prejudice.
Sure, why not?
Certainly I would.
Yes I would date a girl with a disability
Depends on their disability, but probably not.
Peetty shaow negative ones
Of course, if they're a good person I'd date them.
Depends totally on the handicap.
Handicap doesn't always mean the b option.
