@Juxtapose No, in the same way that going to the store to buy a fridge does not narrow your search by excluding washing machines from your options list.
If I include other women in my search, it won't develop into a relationship with any of them, as I won't be attracted to them or form social bonds with them, and thus will just be clogging my search results with too many peices of hay, making it much much harder to find the right needle.
If I went by your logic, I would need to include men in my search as well in order to widen it to it's highest option pool, even though I'm straight, and therefor have zero interest in men.
Women who do not play the genres of games I like, do not have any social hobbies in common with me, so aside from sex, we wouldn't do anything together.
I've even drifted away from friends for lack of shared interests, just because we had no reason to hang out. And I don't want a sex only relationship, I'm better off single than I am humping a girlfriend I can't relate to.
Keep in mind, that I meet my friends while gaming. I hate bars, clubs, concerts, etc, so my only way to even form friendships to begin with is online gaming, so almost 100% of the women I get to know, are at the very least gamers.
@Juxtapose Not interesting enough to bother with, I want a girlfriend who is good at video games enough to best me, and is good at drawing as well, and likes sci-fi, anime, fantasy, and other stuff, but gaming is the only social thing.
You don't like just sitting down and talking for a few hours? Especially somewhere peaceful out in nature with somebody engaging it can be quite a fun time. But I am the type of person who can float on my back in water, close my eyes and just take it all in, in euphoric bliss.. the majesty of nature.
I have not found any women who play Soul Calibur 6 except for one lesbian haha. It's a pretty fun fighting game and the most stimulating multiplayer game I have.
@Juxtapose "You don't like just sitting down and talking for a few hours?"
Fuck no. not by itself, while gaming sure, but I like conversation to be about what we are doing or about creative ideas or problem solving, just casual small talk is boring af and makes me sleepy.
"Especially somewhere peaceful out in nature with somebody engaging it can be quite a fun time. But I am the type of person who can float on my back in water, close my eyes and just take it all in, in euphoric bliss.. the majesty of nature."
Polar opposite of me, I'm a perfectionist workahaulic creative type who gets off mentally via adrenaline rushes and overacheiving, action is my bliss, not relaxing, I HATE relaxing. Nature is only interesting to do nothing around when a literal tiger or other large, exotic, or dangerous animal is present.
You are talking to someone with john hammond's mentality, I'd rather go to or better yet build jurassic park than sit in a park and talk.
"I have not found any women who play Soul Calibur 6 except for one lesbian haha. It's a pretty fun fighting game and the most stimulating multiplayer game I have."
interestingly enough, women who like dark souls and also like spyro or monster hunter, tend to like soulcalibur, even if im the one to show them it exists.
@Juxtapose I never rage quit games, I thrive on challenge, so a girlfriend who was the best sc6 player who i can barely beat after lots of practice, is like wife material to me.
Dark Souls 3 being hacked on the PC makes me concerned for the future of games because these game companies really do not protect their games very well from hackers.
@Juxtapose My only salt against azwel is he is a sign of the controls becoming too casual, I like that he's fast and hard to counter, I hate that playing as him is too easy because he has simple combos, because I grew up having fighting games be like learning an instrument, and I miss that.
Reversal edge and 1 button ults I hate for the same reason, sc5 had the best ults, sc3 had the best combos and story, 6 only gets awarded best character creator.
@Juxtapose Well on PC you get mods, I'd rather run into hackers on occasion than have drm, save data being beld hostage, no mods, and being stuck with crazy pricing and half the game gutted into dlc because not enough competition on the platform does otherwise.
I like games that are relatively simple to get into but over time leave a lot of room for mastery. SC6 and DBFZ are good examples of this.
DS3 is far more simple but I specialize in sorceries. I can kill meta players like Jeenine or PaintedPhantoms with HSM and free aimed Farron Hail. HCSM has the same startup time and animation as CSS so that can be a sort of virtual 50/50.
@Juxtapose I like games that are challenging to learn and hard to master, sc6 and dbfz are good, but I'd enjoy them way more with sc3 difficulty combo input wise.
DS3 played at the highest level (unless you are talking about Gabri or Painted) is usually just a huge drag where you have to pretty much pull the other person's teeth out essentially because you are chasing them when they are using quick step and stacks of regen that cost no FP. Fuck the Murky and Harpe.
I do like a good fight but the thrill of mischief and getting salt from people is a more consistent source of enjoyment.
I can always hop on Soul Calibur 6 and try my hard out and that is a good dispersal of pent up energy after a few great sets.
@Juxtapose sc6 does pvp better, but I don't use much fp in ds3 and most of my fights are me being invaded, so it's more often them pausing because i'm blitzing toward them instead of running away xD if they run from me I just pop i giant tree seed cuz it's funny as fuck to see them run into a group of enemies to try to get an edge on me, only to get the crap beat out of them by npcs for trying to be cheap xD
It's also funny if you go through the boss fog and then they send you hate mail because they think you bitched out when in reality they did not apply enough pressure to the host until they lost the invasion.
@Juxtapose Indeed, use them exclusively on pvp players who refuse to fight without being cheap, so I usually always have a few because most players are ego trip drama queens with greatswords, and i'm just wanting a tough fight.

I myself am a gamer, so yes. But if the game takes priority over our love life, I'm gonna leave them alone with their games.
Absolutely means to me they are fun, like interaction and love to laugh
I would only date someone who plays a lot of video games, specifically difficult video games.
Well especially for women doesn't that really narrow down your prospects by quite a huge margin?
@Juxtapose No, in the same way that going to the store to buy a fridge does not narrow your search by excluding washing machines from your options list.

What about going for a walk? Practicing martial arts together? Going go-kart riding? Watching one of her shows while talking? Cooking together?
I would certainly like a gamer myself (I gave had a few) but there are plenty of other ways to relate to people.
I'm not trying to change your mind or anything, I'm just curious on your thoughts.
*have had a few
@Juxtapose Not interesting enough to bother with, I want a girlfriend who is good at video games enough to best me, and is good at drawing as well, and likes sci-fi, anime, fantasy, and other stuff, but gaming is the only social thing.
The activities you listed are boring af.
@Juxtapose people who just want to talk and not do anything fun hobby wise are so boring that i just go off by myself and draw or play games.
@Juxtapose Plus if I got attached I'd feel bad if I ignored her, and then I'd spend less time doing stuff I enjoy, and then I'd be miserable.

Oh and what would you think of a marijuana smoker?

Yeah thats my favorite game aside from sc3.
I find straight women who play but they are all either taken, too young, or esports champs

I have played Monster Hunter and the Dark Souls games. Are you on PlayStation? What character do you mean on Soul Calibur 6?

@Juxtapose No I'm on PC these days, I main taki, 2b is my side main, but I play all of the characters a lot cuz I like making customs.
@Juxtapose I never rage quit games, I thrive on challenge, so a girlfriend who was the best sc6 player who i can barely beat after lots of practice, is like wife material to me.
2B is fucking brutal in the right hands I tell you, so many mixups and longer strings. I main Azwel and love the salt it can get me.
Dark Souls 3 being hacked on the PC makes me concerned for the future of games because these game companies really do not protect their games very well from hackers.

@Juxtapose I'm a melee focused build for ds3 cuz i get bored being ranged.
Although mostly what I like to get up to in Dark Souls 3 is..
https://youtu.be/Ke6EKENUsj4
I'm a parry king basically
@Juxtapose Ah yes, I think half my fights are either there, or farron keep.
I like hosting fight clubs and then shooting people with Crystal Soul Spears when they least expect it during their honor duels xD
That way but the time they realize what is going on, they are already in the loading screen.
@Juxtapose Thats not a fun fight though :l
I'd just leave dissapointed that it wasn't epic enough. Losing I don't care about, its the rush that matters.

Next time I play I should really start collecting those seeds..
On a new game plus 7 world the seeds are magic.
@Juxtapose Indeed, use them exclusively on pvp players who refuse to fight without being cheap, so I usually always have a few because most players are ego trip drama queens with greatswords, and i'm just wanting a tough fight.
I only rush to the boss door during an invasion if I dropped a ton of souls in the boss room, otherwise I'd be bummed I missed the fight.
As long as they wouldn't mind if I played too! And never just let me win.
Long as she plays naked and doesn't mind her concentration possibly being 😧
No. If they are video game junkies, we'd never spend any time together.
Hmm I don't know.. I've never dated a guy that played video games.
No i won't date him i don't understand why boys like playing video games if you have a girl to play with
Not if they have to play all the time. I like to be outdoors when the sun is out.
yes...
YES...
I need a girl who plays video games
Yes because she wouldn’t be asking how do I (blank) every 3 seconds or pausing to look at her moves
I have before and it did eventually caused problems between us.
I think it is ok if he is able to balance the rest of life and be a responsible person.
As long as they don't spend all our time together playing video games. Other than that I don't care
I also play a lot of video games so yes lmfao
excellent. lets play ;)
It would be a perfect match!
No, boring, shallow bastards
Yes. I love to also play video games.
yes and i would play too
Not a lot, but on occasion would be okay.
