What’s it like dating an older man?

Question

is there anything to know before getting with one? and no i’m not asking because i’m about to get with one, i’m just curious for the future. (harmless question)

You need to make sure they are dating you and not your age, that’s one of the most important points.

You need to be compatible, have things in common other than sex.

Ideally an emotional connection as well as physical.

i tend to view compatibility as being the following.

if both say 22, then you have a high chance of having things in common and being compatible.

the further you get away from 22 with one partner, then there is a greater chance of not having things in common or being compatible.

There are cases where this does not hold though, both being in to same sports, hobbies etc and having a connection.

Also if you meet in a club setting and sort of drift towards each other and end up dating, it’s often more down to having similar thoughts, things in common.

Getting acceptance from friends and family can be interesting lol, everyone always jumps on the negatives and not any positives such as being happy.

The greater the gap likely means the shorter the relationship and both need to be open with that and the future.

Making sure that the Age thing is not a fetish and they have a track record of dating older / younger. This is definitely important for the younger person in relationship, as it’s the older person only wanting younger due to age and likely nothing else, using and abuse tend to accompany this type of relationship where it’s about age and not compatibility.

Well I've dated older women but not an older man LOL I don't think I need to do that anyway an older man will take better care of you he will the gentleman until I you get in bed and then he's going to make it all about you hopefully.
it doesn't matter if he's younger or older if he doesn't make it all about you don't even be with them it's not even worth it you want a guy that can look into your eyes read the color of your cheeks the way you're breathing the way you're moaning the way you moving your hips if he van do this then without saying one word he can read you very well .. then its up to him to give you what your asking for... or he's going to let you hang on a little bit longer and tease you a little bit slower

To be honest this is a very question because all guys are different I know how I would do it I don't know how other guys would do it and at the same time every girl is different so you would do different things anyway good for the very first kiss or the very first touch you know exactly what you're going to do

Well for now focus on school girl. But I'll still give you an insight of how it is being with an older man.

Whilst you are able to find a good , genuine older guy... most of them are very manipulative & psychos. I'm one of the lucky ones , my man is 12 years my senior and honestly the last 6 months that I've been with him for have been amazingggg. He owns a company, he's into real estate. He's been a mentor, offering me help and lessons on the business world. He has a very tight schedule and he really tries making time for me but fails to do so most of the times , so I have to go to his office ( and receive nasty looks from his female employees) , I attend some viewings with some of his agents just last week they sold a R14 million apartment. I've learnt a lot from him & he treats me like a princess. Always picks me up when he can or sends me a driver ( I have a personal driver yeahh) , I've started travelling with him on his business trips with our first major trip to Bali coming up in 2 weeks. We do have our fights as well , we have different cultural backgrounds so that also triggers our fights which are always minor.

Anyways my point is older men will treat you well and everything but gain something while being with them. Don't get blinded by the money & expensive Gucci handbags. Acquire skills , experience & knowledge because girl , that man can wake up tommorow and decide to break up with you.

I'm turning 21 next month and my boyfriend is turning 25 this summer and we met when I was 19 and him, 23. All I can say is. AMAZING. chefs kiss. muah.
It's not a lie that men mature at a different rate than women do before reaching the age of 25, so I recommend to all my girl friends that they shouldn't waste time dating college guys, focus on yourself, or find a mature guy. lol.

I'm not trying to boast, but I would blow your mind after sex it'd be arm over your forehead and you'd just be going wtf just happened wow! But then as a student I was a mature student and it was a different girl every night and I'd sleep with one girl on campus then it'd always end up the next 7 in the same flat after that so they clearly liked to talk! Dating older for your age is no big deal.

Dating older in which they can be your parent or grandparent is when things can get seriously challenging as the position one is in physically, mentally and emotionally is going to be totally different than someone who is 15 or more years older than you.

My friends think it's gross that I'm dating a guy nearly twice my age but when I look at their boyfriends they just get drunk and play video games while my guy is building a future.
