What do you think about dating with an older man?

Hello, I'm 30 years old and the man I'm dating is 44. Do you think a relationship with such a difference can work? Or is the man just enjoying sex with a younger woman?

I'm nobody to comment on anyone's relationship preferences, as long as you're both consenting adults with your own free will and nobody holding you back or making you do something you don't want to.

In your case, a fifteen year age gap may seem like a lot, but it's nothing uncommon. If it was something like you being 18 and him being 40 or something, then that right there is an eyebrow raiser, sure, but again as I said, everyone's allowed to date whoever they want as long as it's all done within legal boundaries

14 years isn't such a huge gap when it's 30-44. If you were 18 then it might be more suspicious, but you're probably both almost equally mature emotionally although he's got a couple more years until he reaches your level.

Once he hits 50 he'll be pretty much where you are now...

I think it CAN work but know that the statistics are NOT with you.

As far as whether he's just enjoying sex with you I can't speak for this guy since I don't know him. But I can speak as a guy in his 40's. And at this age I can tell you a relationship is NOT worth it if all she brings to it is sex.

You're old enough at this point that you should be able to figure out his intentions.
