Would you go on a new version of The Dating Game?

There used to be a show called the Dating Game where they had 3 people on one side of a screen and one person on the other that had to choose which one of the 3 they wanted to date. They could only hear each others voices and the guy/girl was able to ask the 3 questions. Here is Arnold Swartzenegger on "The Dating Game"

No way. It's all fake, just like actual dating apps nowadays. The women on that show just want to get famous and make money off it (just like actual dating apps nowadays). An the only guys who'd get selected would have to be so handsome, they'd never need to go on there, to begin with.

I remember 20 years ago when "Blind Date" used to be a syndicated show, along with "The Fifth Wheel." And even back as a teenager, I knew how cheesy they were. At least The Fifth Wheel had that dated-as-f*ck early 2000's Future aesthetic that they all stole from Minority Report. That's the most memorable thing about the show, as their female host was about slightly less unfunny than Amy Schumer.

well, there are quite a few modern shows but if you mean the exact same show then you got a bunch of British milenials men who made their own version of it on youtube but a bit more focused on comedy since the "contestants"' are the same and only the bachelorette changes.
I, personally, don't think i would like to appear on the show. at least not to win and date the "prize", maybe i would do it for exposure. because sometimes i have hard time being relaxed on dates, so being on a game show i could just go with "fuck it" attitude.

The show was very sexually suggestive when it aired in the 1970s (US) and 1980s (UK) ... if done today, it would be pornographic and would be relegated to late night television.

@daniela1982 I wasn't just referring to th UK version. You are correct about "Three's Company". I've seen several reruns. The premise of a gay guy (who's not gay) living with two lesbian girls (who aren't lesbian) and the weird situations they get into... with Mr Roper watching everything... weird!

I remember when John Ritter (eventually played Jack Tripper, Three's Company) was on DG-TOS. He overplayed things a bit, but it was funny AND he won the date with his far-fetched answers. The TOS was also a good break-out for Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass, and A&M records.
