Why are people getting upset because I’m rejecting them based on beliefs?

Yes , I rather date someone who is Wiccan / pagan like myself and everyone who does approach me isn’t. I’m trying to find the right words to reject them without coming out as discriminating..

My practices are private and I need a mate who is also a part of my practice

Tell them that you two aren’t compatible in things like views or values. It’s reasonable to reject someone for that. You could say that having shared views/values is one of your values in relationships.


You don’t have to go into detail as to why you’re rejecting them. A simple, “I don’t think we would be a great match” or “I think we aren’t very compatible together” will suffice.
