Why am I so shallow?

I have a Bigo live account.

Anyway one time this guy requested to video call me. I accepted the request and as soon as the video chat started and I saw he had a face I found unattractive it took me like 1 second to not feel interested in speaking to him anymore.

Your devices typically have 20-35mm AT MOST for the lens.
You need around 100mm or better to really get a good view of what the person looks like without a distortion of features
