Nobody is perfect, we all do mistakes and we all have flaws. A perfect man or woman doesn't exist. If you love someone accept him / her. Life is all about adjustments and compromises. You will never get a perfect person.
No country is perfect, no system is perfect, no political party is perfect and no leader is perfect.
Discussing an issue, coming to an agreement, and then she doesn't stand by our agreement.
I try.
Thanks for MHO!

I don't understand the choices in the poll.
I guess there were a couple but I never saw them as too much of anything to worry about.
The first was her telling me she didn't want to fuck me anymore after only 4 years of our 10-year long relationship. Secondly was her telling me she didn't want me hold her hand or putting my arm around her in public because it showed ownership! WHAT? That was about 7 or 8 years in. Thirdly, she started spending her holidays with friends of hers instead of me. (Usually, a married Turkish couple she knew.) Then I caught her in a few lies. Then I discovered she stole a couple things from me which I would've gladly either given to her or made/bought copies for her, anyway. There was a really nice pair of $60 earrings I bought for her when we first started seeing each other and she only ever wore them once. Years later, I found on in the crack of a wall behind the radiator at her new place! Also, early on, after a year into our relationship, I asked her to marry me and she said, "Yes!". A few weeks/months later, I mentioned to a friend, in front of her, that she was my fiance and she said I never asked and she never said, "yes!"! I don't normally jump to conclusions but things were starting to add up!
@FunkyMonkee You understand Better than my Poll!!! Good fro you... xx
@FunkyMonkee I always used to make fun of people that stayed in really bad relationships maybe thinking the other person would finally change. Then it happened to me. So I really feel bad for you.
@exitseven But, it wasn't a bad relationship. We were still a very loving and caring couple but she just very slowly and very gradually kept puling away from me over a 6 years stretch. If she didn't want to be my girlfriend anymore, all she had to do was SAY SO!! I would've left her alone and tried going with someone else, if there was anyone available, by then! Why string me along for 6 years? Even DURING the bulk of those 6 years, everyone assumed we were gonna get married at some point.
Thank you!
Well, Paris, I had a long distance relationship with somebody I met at college. We both transferred to different school and lived 1500 miles apart. This was before email and texting and the internet.
I wrote to her at least once a week. Usually every/Sunday I would write a 2-3 page letter about what was going on with me and anything else I was thinking about. If I heard from her once a semester it was a big deal. When I would go out to see her, often she would be too busy with other activities to spend much time with me. She treated me like a fashion accessory.
I decided that people should be on their best behavior when they were dating and if this was her best behavior than what was it going to be like being married to her. I called her one Saturday night and broke up with her over the phone. At first she said we should just get married and then she said it probably was not going to work out anyway.
Wow, @exitseven, Big Red Flag. xx
I once accidentally dated a feminist. Emma. She had no warning signs beforehand, but then I later found out she had all the same man-hating/self-loathing qualities of any other feminist. She had auburn hair, not blue, pink, or green hair, and she had no tattoos, so there really were no warning signs beforehand, but not too long after I found out, I broke up with her, for the obvious man-hating reasons.
No red flag ever I don't think. Both of us at the time were both good people. We split for other reasons 16 years ago, and I been single ever since. (no dating)
If he tells me I have to ditch my guy friends because he feels insecure. If they flirt in any way, I WILL SHUT THAT DOWN. But if they don't do any of that, and you're just jealous I give them attention, cause they're friends, he should SHUT THE HELL UP. <3
Lots of them, but mental illness or signs of it top the list. Bad personality, financial problems, promiscuousness, having had lots of short relationships, obesity, having kids.
I could never be with an insecure and jealous person, that´s just not for me... lol
Catching him in so many lies
🤥🐍
This didn't happen in a relationship but I was talking to guy and we were getting to know each other to see if we could date. He sounded manipulative and controlling so I blocked him.
Different political views with every relationship that I was in.
That she cheated on her first husband and it happened to me 15 years later or earlier for all I know
I KNEW we were done when she said "you don't have to think, just do what I say".
A big red flag is a lack of consideration for boundaries or sexual entitlement 🥱
The way my ex broke up and spoke of his ex
I was a secret to his parents due to religious factors
He would stare down women infront of me and act differently when pretty women were around.
Poor relationship with her father... and her father was a good guy
A quote " Redflag" would be with me a girl who tries to access my cellphone and text messages emails etc. Way to clingy for me Lol
not answering my calls or text turned out to be a big red flag
if she blows one friend, she's gonna blow them all
