Should I explain to the woman I date that I have no romantic views towards my female friend?

I 'm dating a marvelous woman to whom I've mentioned some times (3 or 4 in a span of about 5 months) a good female friend of mine. The problem is that the last time I noticed her uncomfortable, like a little bit jealous and it was not my purpose. Should I explain to her that I have no romantic views towards my friend?

Honesty is always the bests solution if you want a relation to last.

It comes however with a risk. If you emphasize on the fact that you have no romantic feelings for another woman, you possibly achieve just the opposite of what you had hoped for.

By emphasizing that you have no romantic views, it may make you look as if you want to hide something and that may counter-productive.

However, you have to take the risk. "Forewarned is forearmed" goes the saying and I personally would tell the crush about the way you feel. Whether she will believe you is another topic.
