If a woman says I currently don’t date but I would really like to get to know you, should I just assume she’s not interested?

I asked a girl for her info at my college yesterday, she was very nice and we had a good interaction. She did mentioned that she wasn’t dating at the moment but she would really like to get to know me and gave me a smile after she said that. I proceed and said that’s all good etc.

I think I should just leave her alone If I want to pursue her?

How they perceive it whether not fun, whiny, or no backbone, is irrelevant. If your word usage and phraseology does not change... If you are not on top of it EVERY time you open your mouth and text THEN it is likely there is no friendship option available either. If you have to watch you tubes on positive speaking etc then do it, No woman will be drawn as girlfriend to the personality that wrote that negative question...
