My boyfriend vented to me about his younger sister calling him and crying to him about her relationship problems. Then he asked me if my sister has shown any interest in boys or if she talks to me about boys. I said no, not yet, she's very private about her crushes. I told him my parents want her to finish school before dating. He said he gets it.

I think he was just trying to maybe get to know her ya know the best way to get into a girlfriends family is befriend her family members XD. Kinda makes it a little easier if you go to ask to marry someone. Especially if that like sibling of the lover is in full support of the relationship. I doubt your parents would be able to turn down the proposal if your sister is intent on seeing you get married.
