Should I give the creepy guy a chance?

I encountered this indian male online who would dm me very sexual things to my dms. I was bored one day & entertained all his shenanigans. Somehow I enjoyed trolling him & all his strange shenanigans. This went on for a few days, when he all of a sudden initiated a conversation & we indulged in familiar conversation all night. To my shock we had few things in common & it was easy to chat. He apologized for acting so desperate & weird but he was just doing it & thought I'd block him.. He said he'd love to get to know me more & go for a brunch date. I haven't responded. On one hand a brunch sounds exciting on the other what if je is a total weirdo & I don't enjoy this date. What should I do?

What should you do?

Simple. You should cease contact with him. I don't understand why did you continue talking to him when you knew he was being creepy and weird?

You should have blocked him or stopped contact then. Who know maybe he is faking now. If you wish to take a chance then go ahead but there is a chance he could be faking being nice and genuine.

Hence the best option is to stop talking and cease contact with him.

If you want to meet him, do it in a public place. And don't give any personal information until. you had met him. There's a lot of scammers in/from india. I don't want to put them all in a single bag, most of them are lovely hard working people... But statically speaking there's enough indian scammers to justify being extra cautious when you meet one online

Pick a public place and arrive and leave separately.

tell him you have a limited amount of time if you accept. That way you can go and have brunch and leave. If it is to your liking you can always make another date when that one is over. If you make another one let him know you would have more time for that one. This lets you meet him and not have to spend a lot of time with him. Even if you like him do not spend to much time with him on the first date. Give him the opportunity as well to leave you if he doesn't like you. Remember he has to make a decision about you too. If there is a second date then most likely both of you had a good time on the first date.

1 date, in public, to see what he's like won't hurt. You aren't committing to marriage, it's just a brunch date. If you don't like him then you don't have to continue seeing him. But won't know if you don't take a chance. Be sure it's in a public place that's all. Let friends/family know where you are going.
