First I would have to find the ideal man and that would be a real challenge. I am not sure I would be successful in the first place.

Now, money is no issue for me as I am not materialistic. I don't care much about fame and fortune. I stated elsewhere yesterday that I am satisfied with a tiny house for myself and I am quite satisfied with my ageing bike.

I don't need a fancy car (or a car at all), a mansion and hundreds of thousands of $/£. I much rather have a person in my life that I can depend on. Those millionaires and billionaires are certainly not dependable and they are out in any case. I would settle for a stable or poor person, as long as his character, personality and intellect are what I seek in a person.

@SueShe Don't I know it! We are making the journey there in August to tie up any remaining details and get fitted for my dress. Now, I was promised to be taken out with his mates for "pub pretzels" for comparison to mine.

I asked if he was out of his mind taking me for non-calorie worthy food when I am supposed to be fitted for a wedding dress. Sometimes guys just don't think. Even mine. 😞

Stable is the most realistic option.

I consider financial stability to be an important factor. I value hard work. I would not date a man who is an aimless slacker. Love ain’t gonna pay the bills.

I neither want to provide for anyone, nor do I want anyone to provide for me. i would prefer it if he has his own money. Fame and fortune have their own disadvantages, and I would never date a person who’s famous.

So it wouldn't bother me if he was poor. It would be nice though if he at least made enough money to provide for himself.

Stable is all I need realistically. Being financially stable and not wanting for things is enough in life. Having excessive money comes with its own issues.
