Depends. If he shows remorse and seems genuine then I’ll give him a chance. I won’t justify his cheating, there’s never a reason good enough to justify cheating but I can try to understand his perspective. I’ve been both the cheater and the one getting cheated on so I guess I can be a little more tolerant.
