Women are more shallow than men, men would give below average looking women a chance, but would women do the same for men?

I don't think women are more shallow then men (at least not in the physical sense). Maybe if they're below 25yrs. Old. But that's because they're not fully women yet. They still have an immature girl mentality.
But men usually have a short criteria for women. Usually it goes something like. 1. Is she attractive 2. Is she a nice person. That's it!
Most women's criteria is much more complicated. With them it's 1. How interested in me is he 2. How confident is he. 3. Is he attractive. 4. How's his smile. 5. Is he in good shape. 6. How does he dress. 7. How is his hair.
OK, and that's just the physical/ visual. That's just the first hurdle she finds him physically appealing. Now he has to open his mouth and he could destroy everything his body did in the first sentence lol.
Then it's, 1. Is he funny. 2. Is he witty. 3. Is he interesting. 4. Does his goals match hers 5. Does his values match hers. 6. Does his morals match hers.
Then there's the situational and not fully tangible. Because keep in mind SHE IS A WOMAN. So at any moment she could just be turned off by him and decide she's just not feeling him anymore. There's 1. How his friends treat him (do they respect him? Does he command respect?) 2. How does he talk to her friends vs. The way he talks to her... how does he treat her friends. 3. Is he cheap ( of course money is a big factor.) How much does he make/spend, what does he spend it on.
I could probably keep going but I think I've made my point. 🤣

I'm pretty much open minded, when I go out all I see are couples that are equally good looking. I have never seen a below average man with any woman.

From an evolutionary standpoint too it makes sense, good looks = good genes, hence why women only want good looking guys.

@roaring20sman I think Lincoln is not really understood for being the shrewed politician that he was. I bristle when I hear his referred to as the Great Emancipator but that is how he is remembered.

False I wouldn´t say that women are more shallow than men because guys are really shallow as well. "men would give below average women a chance" probably but that won´t last long and would neither be a loving relationship.
It would probably end soon especially if he´s better looking and is considered an over average looking guy.

I've seen way more better looking girlfriends rather than the opposite. We are the ones pressured to fit into beauty standards not men, way many girls don't give a thing about a man's appearance if they have inner beauty or they're 'husband material'

Are you serious or just trolling lol.
Even the most unattractive woman has a flock of men around her to choose from.
The same cannot be said to men. If you are below average in looks (i. e. the face) you don't even have the slightest chance of dating ANY woman.

So men like that, including me should learn to live without ever getting ANY sort of affection from ANY woman. That's what we are doing, and it's not something that we are taught. It's hard, but we fill that void by sticking to our goals, ambitions, dreams and building our empire.

Most guys like me fill the void by working out, sculpting our physiques. However that won't matter to women as FACE >> BODY

But we still do it, cause it makes us happy. That's the only thing we got apart from our goals and purpose of course.

I think face matters more to women than the body, I have seen a lot of evidence to support this claim, so if a guy is borderline obese, but has a good face with the facial features that I mentioned, he still gets a chance, but even if you are diced and ripped, but if you have a face with bad facial features like lack of symmetry many women reject that guy.

So an obese guy with good facial features isn't below average, he's actually an average guy, so it makes sense that he can get women.

This depends on the face, cause I have seen men who are obese with women and I wonder to myself why is that woman with him? Then I scan his face, and pretty much all the time I know the answer. The face is pretty much symmetrical.

Symmetry is actually a indicator of good genes, which explains why women go for these types of guys.

To summarize, obese + good face = average to above average in some cases,
obese + below average looking face = below average
