I wouldn't leave the person because of scars but It would be surprising at first. I wouldn't bring it up at first but maybe after I would ask them about them and whether they want to share is entirely up to them.

Most of us who self harm do so as teenagers. My worst scars are 10 years old. If they aren't fresh cuts, they don't reflect on you as a person now. And if she does leave or lose respect for you, she isn't worth keeping anyway because she clearly lacks empathy.

No. I wouldn't leave nor lose respect for him. I'd probably be a bit shocked but I wouldn't say anything or ask him about it, but if he was willing to talk about it, I'll listen and be supportive.

I’ve never had an issue with this but I usually go for goth alternative girls so that might be why.
