My boyfriend just told me he has chicken pox n is going on medication can I still see him we were suppose to go to lunch together?

I got a vaccine back in 98 can I still get chicken pox? This pass week my boyfriend worked at a daycare doing construction is it possible a kid could of gave it to him. Coughing? Sneezing?

He should not be out in public if he is infectious. Have you been vaccinated? It's a nasty thing to get as an adult. If you haven't been vaccinated you should stay away until he's no longer infectious.

he should probaby stay home while he has them
no sense taking a chance on spreading them to someone else.
for older people it can really affect them.

If you already had chicken pox or the vaccine than you should be ok. I don’t think it would cause you to have a shingle outbreak.

Nooo, chicken pox is very contagious so stay away till he gets over them.
