Religion/values definitely matter. If we aren't mostly on the same page, then the prospects of a long term stable relationship/marriage/family are extremely low.
Race is not really a big factor as long as she's attractive. There's definitely some features (like hair style and eye color) that give some an advantage in that regard, but it's far from a done deal just because we're the same race.
Political views matter a lot when being in a relationship because those have a lot to do with someone's morals.
Religion matters for some things, but it matters more when it comes to how you will raise your kids.
Race matters to some people and not as much to others.
Out of those three, I'd say political/moral views matter the most to me when choosing someone.
I can't speak for guys, but my husband and I have different religious views (he is atheist and I am Christian). It's an uneven yoke and some things break my heart. I don't care what race he is, but I wish he was saved.

I don't really care when it comes to it. As long as she's open minded and accepts that I will follow my religion, than were cool. Of course I would want our kids to be educated in both of our religions but honestly I want them to choose for themselves. As for race, it doesn't matter to me
In the past I used to be more open, but now I would not associate with someone of categorized as belonging to a "wavering" or "hostile" class.
Yes I prefer her to be the same race as me, religion matters to me less because I am not religious but it's still complicated to date a girl from different a religion.
I prefer her to be the same.. Cultural and racial differences are so much to deal with and work out and it's not guaranteed to be a success... if she's religious she has to be reasonable about it and not a total sheep like the others..
