Should I tell a guy I'm disabled?

I'm disabled and unable to hold a full time job. I have arthritis in my ankles and chronic lower back pain that only subsides with cortisone steroid shots every three months. However you wouldn't be able to tell just by looking at me so I'm very good at hiding it. I'm currently single but I want to date again. I'm not comfortable telling this to a guy because I feel he might reject me thinking he has to take care of me. But I'm more than able to take care of myself. Should I tell him before we date, or some time after, or not at all?
