Not necessarily. For a couple years I was only having ONS and NSA, at the time I also did modelling. With a lack of a girlfriend and modelling, my parents thought I was gay. So for... I think it was a couple weeks, maybe a month? I'd wake the girl from the night before up and promise breakfast/brunch, then bring her over to my folks for a super awkward time and be like "here's my girlfriend for the week, maybe!"

They got the point and I stopped. Besides that one instance though, generally I'd only take a girl to meet my folks if it seemed serious. Although I had a woman who I was in an NSA relationship with bring me to meet her folks, simply because she was staying at their place for a while over holidays and wanted to get dicked down. Classy.

Not necessarily. In a relationship there is a high concentration of the stupid factor that discombobulates reflectivity and wisdom. Parental inspection makes one ask themselves is this person really going to impress my parents? That moment of scrutiny just bairly opens the door but often far too little to do an actual evaluation of the mate. So parents are needed to do the required sizing up. "Ok Johnny here is our approval" and your behind gets branded with a seal. And he gets a document stating - Inspector P has approved.

You get dumped to move on to a less judgmental family.

I think so, my boyfriend introduced me to his parents after 8 months since we met and he said his dad has never been more proud of him than that day. :P

That being said, he even planned marrying me before our plans were crushed by forced long distance.

Yes but if she doesn’t have a good relationship with her parents or is keeping it a secret from u then that Doesn’t mean she doesn’t love u she’s just Tryinf to keep the both of you safe !

I think that is true unless there is some obvious exception.

When I was 23, my girlfriend at that time and I went away for the Fourth of July weekend. We passed though my hometown and we stopped for a few hours to visit with my parents. But our relationship was not at that point of me saying, "mom and dad, I thnk this is the one." And she and I never got to that point.

But every other girl who I have introduced to my family has been a girl who I loved at that time.

well if you think about it, introducing someone to your family is a very intimate and vulnerable thing to do. cause you risk your own reputation within your family by introducing some toxic person into your family circle and you're risking even your entire families bond in extreme cases.
so if he's ready to show you to his family, he's convinced that you're worthy of being shown to his family even in the case that you and him don't end up working out. because he thinks you're just that decent of a person.
it's no guarantee that you'll be forever together but it's certainly a sign that he's at least somewhat serious.

If you're invited to meet the parents then he probably doesn't view you as just a sex object I will say this.
However some guys would prefer you just never meet their parents like even if you get married have three kids and live 40 years together they still will not want you to meet their parents. Some guys just have a thing about relationships and their parents I am one of those people by the way

Not really. I have a decent relationship with my parents, so if there's someone I'm clearly interested in and dating I'd like for them to meet her, and for her to meet them. It may be our relationship, but more than likely our families are going to try to exert their feelings and opinions at some point. The earlier she has an idea of what she's getting into the more time she has to figure out if this is going to work. This works both ways. Meeting her parents is just as important.

Yes and no. I guess liking her a lot or being infatuated would mean she has your heart. But just getting introduced to the parents doesn't necessarily mean he has plans to marry you. It does mean that he is proud to be seen with you.

I used to bring my girlfriends to the house and even to family gatherings. She was my girlfriend, why wouldn't I?

I've never introduced a woman in my life to my parents. The only reason they met my ex-wife is because they were at my wedding, the first and only time they ever saw her. Wished I'd never invited them, and to this day still don't know why they actually came.
