Why does not a lot of men want to date and get to know a women? I always attract attention from men who want to hit the sheets the first thing they see me and they call this a date. I mean I am kind of glad, some guys find me that attractive but I would love to go do something fun or dinner instead. It doesn't have to be fancy just a casual place will be fine for me or something that involves the outdoors, arcade, a movie or something inexpensive.
If I am unrealistic then please let me know because my family is the one that is wanting me to be respected but maybe dating is different now, I have no clue.

You see the dating market is now so vast that a guy can't afford the time energy and money.

I'll explain:

Before if you come from a small town or even a small city your options were the guys in that city and even then the guys in your own circle.
So a guy knows that it's either gonna be him or some guy he knows that ends up with you.
That allowed guys to date because they can find comfort in knowing there is no immediate competition.

Today with social media this no longer exists.
Even if you're from a small town if a rich guy from a major city finds your pictures attractive on social media or a dating app he will fly you out to meet you. Now I know that's rare but it's simply that guys are in competition today with the whole world.

I had cases where I would go on a date and when we text afterwards and try to date again the girl tell me "oh sorry I am going out with someone else"

Now sex is the ultimate investment for women.
Once a woman has sex with a man she will put the other options on hold to see where it goes and if they are fully compatible it becomes a relationship.

This is why men wanna sleep with you early because that's how they know that this is going somewhere.

Going on creative dates and dinners and such is time consuming, energy consuming, and expensive. So guys don't automatically jump to that before at least knowing the girl wants them and unfortunately sex is the only way to confirm that.

Still very few women are sleeping with 10 guys at once and you can often tell.

But say she is sleeping with a few guys, if you don't join the circile if guys she slept with you can never become her boyfriend.

A woman won't date a platonic guy long term when she is getting sex from other guys, the guy she dates will need to become her best and ultimate option and it starts with him providing the sex as well

You dont involve yourself with a woman who is sleeping with multiple guys unless you just want the sex and dont care about the arrangement.

While there might be some slim chance that you could be 'the one' and she might decide she wants to be exclusive with you that does not seem to be a good method at all for getting into a real relationship.

The game is so rigged for a man these days that it's best not ot waste your time and money for dating. You could be stringed along for several dates and bills just to be rejected. So most men straight up want sex and if they can't get it they assume the girl isn't interested and leave.
