What do I say to my twin who came out as gay?

My identical twin, who I never expected was gay, came out as gay to me over the FaceTime. I was low key shocked so I kind of didn’t say anything much. I do NOT disapprove. I later called him a few minutes later in private. Told him it he could of came out sooner. Asked him who he told and stuff. Asked him how he’s gonna come out as gay to the family. Joked about him just bringing a guy over unexpectedly. I ended it with saying “Love you, bye!” which isn’t all TOO uncommon for our relationship.

Did I mess up? I had no idea how to react. When I talk to him in person what do I say? It’s just simply he likes men, how do I have a conversation about that?

I think how you reacted was completely fine. And I wouldn’t even bring it up to him in person tbh unless he brings it up first

It is gay pride month, hope he isn’t just saying because it’s an in thing to be gay for some reason since you’re not and usually both are when identical so if you’re not feeling that way then it seems odd that he is if you’re not

I believe him. I believe he is bisexual. He says it as gay so he probably chases men more. He seems iffy on women. (Just talked to him more) So gay or bi I’m unsure as is he. I’ve always had the same girl since 6th grade so I wouldn’t know if I was straight or bi. He did say he has had botfriends

It’s definitely odd , I hope it’s not all media and thinking it’s a trend to be bi or gay these days that’s influencing him, you have the same dna so you’ll have the same tendencies as most twins do if it’s the way you were born otherwise he is just being influenced more than you
