Age gap second thoughts?

Met this girl we we’re talking I’m 17 she’s 16 2 years older, birthdays coming up and I just been pushing myself away from her just keep second guessing myself don’t wanna seem like no weirdo or be seeing as one she’s perfectly fine with it but I just don’t know what parents are going to think both still in high school if that changes anything

It's fine... People only have a problem with big age gaps between teens and adults. I think if you want the general rule 3/2 years age gap is where most people draw the line. Meaning that even if it might be illegal in some cases, if you turn 18 and the girl is 15/16 it's fine. Especially because people are more lenient if they know you were dating before you were 18
