Well there’s a difference between friend zoning a potential partner and having a friend.
But if you’re a potential partner that I’m not interested in than I’m not friend zoning and leading you on, you are a acquaintance at that point. A friend I would go out of my way to see. an acquaintance I would not.

Friendzoning a guy is the dumbest thing that a woman can ever do. I met a woman who was treated badly and a self confessed whore! And I don't believe in slut shaming nor do I think prostitution should be illegal! There's nothing wrong with sex work!

I fell in love with her and she was like my best friend for almost 3 years, and every time I tried to get close to her, she would freak out and act like I was treating her like a piece of meat... Well I later found out she was hooking up with multiple people around me that we both knew.

She chose to hook up with all these other dudes, but was too good to hook up with guy who constantly treated her right, and was always there for her! The ROMANTIC best friend who, would have been perfectly fine with being just FTFS...
SO I MADE IT CLEAR I WOULD RATHER HAVE NO FRIEND AT ALL THAN HAVE A FRIEND WHO LOOKS AT MY GENUINE FRIENDSHIP LOVE AND AFFECTION AS IF IT WAS A WEAKNESS OR REASON TO NOT BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR HER! AND I BLOCKED HER! CUT HER FROM MY LIFE ENTIRELY!
