How is it wrong for Men not want to date single mothers & not wrong when women say they don't want to date single dads?

So here is a bit of clarity on this question...

I was on a dating website, I have always put on my bio "please no single mothers". Which I think is perfectly fine. The reason for my preference is because I have relationship & courtship in the past with single mothers and it was messy. Another reason is I am selfish. If you go into a relationship to give than you should give it openly and equally. To me dating single parents means you will always be at the bottom of their list (which is natural). Plus I want my own children & most don't want more so I think it is unfair to sacrifice what I want for someone who doesn't. So there are my reasons...

Not exactly I said anything racist or disgusting as it is my preference. Yet I had several angry messages from many angry women saying I was "disrespectful" and "mean".

Yet I am sure women who put the same thing but say dad's. They don't get half the problems.

So why are you single mom's get upset about it?

Respectful answers please no snowflake or butt hurt answers. I have asked a reasonable question so I expect a reasonable answer.

Society has made it so men's standards looka offensive, even though they're often times more realistic than what women want.

I've seen a woman's dating profile where she stated she had two kids, was heavily pregnant in her profile picture and said in her bio that she doesn't date men with kids. 😂

Double standards. Too many women are raised w this mentality that they’re princesses and deserve everything for just being alive. Disney reinforces that too so men in general as seen as POS because we’re not living up to their expectations of what Disney taught them. A lot of women want things their way when it’s convenient isn’t for them but when it isn’t they’re against it. But I’m glad a lot of men are catching onto women’s bullshit these days. They want equality so let them have it. You’re not wrong for not wanting to date single mothers. Trust me it can be one hell of a train ride because you’ll always be second.

You have every right to set boundaries and stipulations. For them to get mad and not even know you is ridiculous. They are automatically excluded from your list of potentials so they can just go look elsewhere without being butthurt about it. Why they feel the need to be so offended makes no sense.

It's not offensive. You have the right to date who you want and no one should force you to marry single mothers because that comes with new kids from different guys. Not everyone feels like dealing with that.

Single parents know most people won’t date them. It’s probably much harder for single dads.

Its the old double standards again, women are free to reject dating single parents but the other way round is pronounced sexist by women.
Even though a man being a single parent is most likely due to the loss of spouse through illness or accident, single mothers are more likely to have never been married and been a bit care free with birth control, or result of a divorce.
