Anyone else always sad when they go on social media?

This is one of the reasons I deleted all my social media. I suppose this is a form of social media as well but much less.

You have to understand 2 important things:
-That people are not going to post the mundane or the negative about their life. O sure the negative of others that is fun.
So for the most part its only the green grass we will see. But the bugs, mowing, fertilizing... all that work still is there. And there is often that green filter to make it all look better.
-You are currently NOT living while on social media. You are looking at other people live. Your brain is telling you that, and its emotional.
IF you get your little camera and go photograph places, people, things you imagine they would love to see, then are you really alone while doing it? Are you not sharing the experience with others?

I get you, but don't compare with them, that's not healthy, just focus on improving yourself and don't go on social media often if it makes your mental health being worse.

I don't have any kind of social media except girls ass guys. When I randomly by accident see something from tiktok or YouTube or whatever it's called all of it I always get depressed cuz people seems so dumb

I used to glance at Chaturbate and I would feel hurt and sad because I'm single. But when I stopped looking at that site I don't feel hurt or sad anymore.

Social media is hurting one's psyche with its twisted fake reality. Instagram and tiktok make you think everyone has many friends, always fun and travelling while those watching can feel jealous and depressed
