It depends on several factors. Whether you act on it, how soon you act on it, whether you find a different crush, etc.


If I don’t act on it, it usually lasts til I either find a new crush or notice something about my crush that turns me off.


If I act on it early and I get rejected, it only lasts maybe 2-4 weeks because I didn't get to know them or spend a lot of time imagining a love story and planning out our lives together in my head 😂


If I act on it later and get rejected, it can take a long time because I have already started fantasizing about what it would be like to fall in love and have a life together. If I have to see them all the time, it could take a year or until I like someone else. What would speed it up would be not seeing them in person anymore and not communicating with them. Then it might take me about 2-3 months.


If I act on it (whether it’s early or late) and it works out, they’re my crush for life lol.

2 years - 6-8 years old
2.5 years - 8-10 years old
4 years - 11-14 years old

It truly depends on the person.
For me, I can crush on a person for a really long time and then loose feelings in a minute, if they show signs of bad character.
I can also have a short term crush, no matter how nice the person is.
