How long does a crush last before it becomes love?

I've liked this girl for like four years. But now I feel like I love her. I care more about her then my guy friends who I love. And I can't stop thinking about her. I put her happiness first. And think of her as an angel. She is so pretty. I would die over and over again for her. When I look at her I can't stop smiling. I love her presence and could talk to her for hours. At first I didn't find her attractive. But now I think she is the most beautiful girl out there. But she doesn't have to be with me. It would hurt bad. But for her happiness I want her to be with who she wants. But if he hurt her I'd kill him. And so this raises my question. Do I love her?

Exactly what I feel for my crush bro! I didn't exactly "crush" on her until like two months ago, but I've known her since last summer. Probably only cause I was occupied with another crush.
But, now the feelings are so strong and I really, really wanna ask her out.

BUT - I don't think you'll know you love someone truly until you have been in a relationship with them. You are very close though... just make a move.
